I had a lot to overcome…

After surviving childhood abuse, being tossed around in the foster care system, homelessness as a teen, and enduring years of domestic violence, I found myself divorced, traumatized, destitute, and a neurodivergent single mom of two kids. The future seemed hopeless, but I knew that I wanted more than what the statistics said I would have.

Over a seven-year period, I pushed myself hard and earned two business degrees, a master’s degree in organizational leadership, jumped to the top 3% in the company I was with, and became a master certified professional coach and consultant - all while homeschooling my kids and staying involved in ministry.

Until I could push no more…

Shortly after achieving all of that, I crashed into a wall of burnout and felt helpless as I watched my mental and physical health begin to fall apart, along with all of my dreams.

My ability to push through seemed to disappear, and I was forced to step back and take an honest look at everything I had built.

What I began to realize was this:

It wasn’t a lack of effort, discipline, or desire that had led me there. It was the systems I had built over the years - patterns of thinking, behavior, and decision-making that had helped me survive but were no longer sustainable.

That realization changed everything.

Instead of trying to push harder, I began to rebuild - intentionally. I took all of the experience and knowledge I had gained over the years and began to identify the patterns driving my life, break the cycles that were holding me back, and create new systems that aligned with who I wanted to become and what I wanted to build.

This wasn’t a one-time shift. It became a way of living.

I applied principles from leadership, motivational science, and systems thinking - especially the kind that looks beyond surface-level problems to uncover root causes and lasting solutions. I learned how to move from reaction to intentional design, from survival-based patterns to opportunity-driven growth.

That is why I do what I do today.

My work is centered around helping individuals identify what is truly keeping them stuck – not just on the surface, but within the systems they are operating in - and guiding them through the process of creating new patterns, new strategies, and a new way forward.

No matter what someone is facing - burnout, destructive behaviors and patterns, relationship struggles, or feeling stuck in life - there is always a way forward when you learn how to shift your mindset, break limiting cycles, and build strategic systems that support sustainable growth and success.

This is not about pushing harder.

It’s about learning how to think differently, lead yourself effectively, and create a life defined by clarity, purpose, and sustainable growth and success that reflect your full potential.
